  • Gretchen Rubin's "The Four Tendencies" is a resource that helps you figure out your motivation style. The book is fantastic, but you can start with the free quiz here.

  • Here's my blog post on differentiating stress vs. anxiety. While this post doesn't mention perimenopause specifically, I think there are some helpful points here that apply.

  • The concept of this book fascinates me -- when looking for a way in, always look for the third door, i.e. the entry point no one else is thinking about. Is the site a little bit dude-bro? Yep, and the book is as well. But I've learned that looking past that in business resources has benefited me in entrepreneurship (especially when chased with the balm of a great romance novel to help me keep fighting the patriarchy 😉)

  • I didn't mention this in the talk but this book is a game changer. The premise is that the best motivation is enjoyment, and I couldn't agree more. Discipline is overrated -- make your goals enjoyable to work toward and you'll go even farther.

  • Y'all I'm very new to making videos and I know they're still clunky, so bear that in mind... but I think this video applies to our discussion so perfectly I had to add it. Here I talk about the benefit of taking imperfect action over settling for perfect inaction -- don't let your perfectionism keep you stuck!
